Reasons to
inspect clones

E.g. for debugging or for checking data without changing the clone

Steps to get
there

1) Get the project Nr

In the admin Page in TIS-Board

  • Look up in the Window of clones the number by filtering for project name and user
  • For cronjobs you might use the nr of the service or have to guess


2) In the editor  -
check settings

Check the Settings whether to recalc things automatically and TURN THEM OFF or be very careful!
Remember this influences also the behavior in other projects during this session.


3) open any project
and click on the 
project name


4) replace the
number with
the one of your clone

in this example

If the project can not be opened from the Editor (e.g. error message no value),

close the project with the ID you wanted to open in the Admin Board

and retry to open it in the Editor.

5) when done -
give the clone free!

Otherwise it's locked

Be aware

  • Make sure not to recalculate things without knowing exactly what you are doing! Even if you are insight a clone writing & updating tables does it's job.
  • Give the clone free afterwards via the Admin 
  • You cannot change a clone or its parameters in the editor - only recalculate nodes
