The Portlet Designer allows to create and modify portlets. It is shown in TIS Board as a tab highlighted in green color.

More Menu | First activate the design mode. Then the Portlet Designer can be opened either from the More menu or with the gear-icon button.

Portlet Designer menu | The Portlet Designer menu bar is located at the top right corner

New... | Create a new portlet. |
Open... | Open the Portlet Manager for organizing existing portlets and portlet folders

Save | Save the active portlet. |
Save as... | Save a new portlet as a copy of the active portlet. |
Layout | Select the Layout of the Portlet preview area with one of the icons right to the save-icon. NOTE: The page layout has to be set in the page's properties and is independent from this setting. |
